Ms Punches, a Cherokee descendant, grew up in Houston, Texas and has always had a talent for art. Following her dream, she earned a Commercial Art Degree in Visual Communication at the Art Institute of Houston. Her love of art is enhanced by her love of traveling.

She currently lives here in Guam with her husband, two daughters, and one son.

Some of her goals include doing a location-specific collage drawing for each place she has lived and having a piece of her art owned throughout the world. Currently, collectors of her art live in the United States, Germany, Japan, Korea, Philippines, and England to name a few.

Though trained in numerous media, the most popular are her photo realistic black and white or colored pencil portraits.
