Mothers are so kind and sweet
Sweeter than a chocolate treat
Caring and loving, a true delight
Always willing to fight for what's right
For mothers day, this day of days
I wish to sing a song of praise
For all the good you've done for us
I'd like to make a great big fuss
Our time together is so special
I find you very influential
You've guided me throughout my life
Saving me from my strife
So I sing my praise for you
For you I'll always be there too
I feel lucky to have you as a mother
And I love you like no other
