well, it's been a while. not much is happening. that has never stopped me from writing before, though. i suppose it's just laziness.
our house is officially for sale. we had our first bite friday. they didn't stay long, though. not a good sign. i guess they might want to see it again, though. we have another showing tomorrow night and a realtor walk-through in the morning. it's pretty nerve racking trying to keep the house perfect all the time. we're both slobs and having two dogs doesn't help in keeping the house clean. in fact, tonight i have to clean for the showings tomorrow.
saturday we went to my favorite restaurant. unfortunatley, it's an hours drive from us. we made a day of it. we went to the mall there and i got my first birthday present-a totally cool leather jacket. (no, it's not GAP leather - they don't think my womanly body is worthy of their attire. you have to be an anorexic waif like in the commercials to wear their clothes. and a waif i ain't.) so today i picked out my clothes to look cool with my new jacket. i have on my short black skirt with black tights and my clunky black shoes and my dark grey ribbed turtleneck sweater. yeah for fall! yeah for sweaters and tights and coats! and boots! my jacket will look so cool with jeans and my doc martens. ok. i'm a little too excited over a jacket. i do look good in it, though!
on a down note, i got my period, again. i know you don't want to hear it but i'm getting pissed off. i'm getting sick of updating my babycenter and parents place memberships every month. i really would like to see the "week 5" newsletter in my mailbox but, no, i keep having to go back to week 1. maybe october will be the month. that would be a good birthday present. we'll keep at it.....
