Horny
By Kristjan Brezovnik

Buffy and Faith were on patrol together. It was pretty boring, apparently the vamps had decided to stay in that night. Which didn't really bother the Slayers, except that they knew that they'd have to deal with them some other time.

Then they heard a scream and saw a woman running for her life, followed by an ugly demon.

"Gross," Buffy said as she and Faith charged.

When the demon saw the two charging Slayers, he stopped pursuing the women and he observed the Slayers instead, waiting for them to come to him. And they did. And they fought. And they still fought. And they were getting exhausted. And then, as Faith was still on the ground, recovering from a hit, the demon kissed Buffy. Buffy just froze, shocked, and Faith just stared at them, also shocked. But she quickly recovered, got up and plunged her stake into the demon's back. The demon turned, obviously surprised by her quick recovery, and Faith quickly stabbed him a few more times, not quite sure where its heart was, or whatever passed for a heart in a demon. The demon groaned and dropped, dead.

"Yuck," Buffy said, wiping her mouth. "This is so gross," she said and spat. "Yuck." She glared at Faith as Faith laughed. "That's not funny."

"What can I say, B, you're the hottest. Not even the demons can resist you."

Imaginary stakes flew at Faith from Buffy's eyes.

"Don't even think about telling about this to anyone. If the vamps find out, I can as well retire, they're never gonna respect me again."

Faith chuckled.

"Your secret's safe with me, B. Unless there are some aftereffects. Then we should tell Giles."

Buffy groaned.

"Let's hope there aren't."

Faith grinned.

"Let's dump the body and then go to the Bronze."

"Sounds like a plan," Buffy agreed, "I need to let off some steam." She thought for a moment. "You know, he was a really good kisser," she then said and Faith burst into laughter again. "No, really. And he tasted like… mint."

Faith kept laughing.

"How do you know it was a he?" she asked when she calmed down a bit.

Buffy shrugged.

"I just know. I've yet to meet a gay demon," she said and Faith chuckled. "God, I really need to let off some steam," Buffy said, shuddering. "Come on, let's hurry."

They dumped the demon and went to the Bronze. Fortunately, as Faith would later recall, the Scooby Gang was not there. As they danced, Faith couldn't help but notice how hot Buffy looked. Hell, her body was screaming sex. Big time. Faith was relaxed at first, dancing erotically as she usually did. But when Buffy decided it was time for a more intimate dancing routine, Faith had a bad feeling that the demon had done something to Buffy. And it worried her.

"Come on, let's get out of here!" Faith finally yelled over the noise, not wanting to do something that they would both regret later.

Buffy agreed with a smile, took Faith's hand and they left.

Outside, Buffy pressed Faith against the wall and pressed their bodies together.

"You feel hot, F," she said, her eyes glowing with passion.

"Ah, B, I don't think this is a good idea," Faith said.

"Oh no? But you're getting very aroused. I can feel it. I can smell it. You want me."

"B…"

"What's the matter, Faith? Chicken?"

"No, B… This is not the right place," Faith quickly said, her eyes wide.

Buffy thought for a moment.

"You're right," she agreed. "Let's go to your place and then you can show me just how experienced you are."

Faith gulped. Buffy grabbed her hand and started to run toward Faith's motel. Faith couldn't help but follow.

"Come on, open," Buffy said when they got to the motel. "Quickly. Or I'll knock the door down."

Faith struggled a bit with the key and Buffy, breathing down her neck as she tried to nibble on her earlobe, didn't help her concentration. But she finally opened the door and Buffy pushed her inside, slamming the doors close after them. Faith barely managed to avoid crashing on the bed.

"Buffy, stop it," she said.

Buffy stared at her, her eyes hot with passion.

"Don't you want me?" she asked in a husky voice.

"I… I…"

"You do, I can feel it. And you know it."

"Buffy, don't. That demon did something to you."

"Oh yes," Buffy agreed. "He kissed me. God, I'm so horny," she said and ran her hands over her body. Then she pinned Faith to the wall and looked her deep in the eyes. "I love you, Faith," she said and kissed her passionately.

Faith was so surprised that for a few moments she didn't even fight Buffy. But then her common sense kicked in and just barely managed to override her instincts, which were telling her to fuck Buffy's brains out already. She pushed her away.

"You don't love me, Buffy," she said. "You're under the influence of that demon. You…"

"I know how I fell, Faith," Buffy said, momentarily stopping her assault. "I've felt it before, I was just too chicken to tell you about it. You know, get some, get gone. Sounds familiar?"

"Buffy…" Faith started, her eyes wide with fear.

"I. Love. You. Faith. And I want you. And I know you want me."

"Then wait until your head clears," Faith said.

"Can't. I need you. Now. I've waited far too long."

Faith gulped.

"Look, Buffy, I love you too," she said and kissed her. "And I'm sorry," she added quietly when she broke the kiss.

"For what?" Buffy asked, puzzled, especially when she saw tears in Faith's eyes.

"For this," Faith said and knocked her out.

She caught Buffy before she could crash to the ground and she carried her to the bed. Then she quickly found some rope and tied her up. When she was done, she just stared at Buffy for a while, wondering what consequences this would have. She was also worried about Buffy's well being. She quickly called Giles.

"Giles, we have a problem."

"Is something wrong?" Giles asked, worried.

"Yeah. B and I fought some ugly demon and he kissed her."

"Kissed?" Giles asked, surprised.

"Yeah. And now she's acting all horny."

"Really? Hold on for a moment."

"You know what it was?" Faith asked, but Giles had already put down the receiver and went looking for a book.

"Mhm," Giles said when he got back. "Do you have any details?" he finally asked.

Faith thought for a moment.

"Well, B said that he was a good kisser and he tasted like mint."

"Mhm. What color was his blood?"

Faith thought for a moment.

"Red. I think."

"Could it be violet?"

Faith frowned, thinking.

"Well, I guess so. It was pretty dark and we didn't see well."

"I see."

"Do you know what it was?"

"Yes, I believe so. I think it was an incubus."

Faith blinked.

"A what?"

Giles hesitated for a moment.

"A… A sex demon."

Faith laughed.

"They got that kind?"

"Em, yes," Giles said, sounding embarrassed.

"So B was right."

"About what?"

"She said it was male."

"Oh. Yes."

"Is she gonna be alright?"

"Yes, I believe so. The effects should be gone by tomorrow."

"Good."

"Where is she now?"

"On my bed," Faith said. "Don't worry, I knocked her out and tied her up," she quickly added, blushing a bit."

"I see," Giles said.

"I'll call you in the morning then."

"Good."

"Oh, could you call her mom and tell her about it? Don't want her to get worried."

"I will."

"Good. Thanks. Bye."

"Good night, Faith."

Faith hung up and looked at Buffy. She thought about what Buffy had said, but she didn't believe she had meant it. After all, there was no way someone like Buffy could possible fall in love with her. And why should she, she had absolutely nothing to offer, not to Buffy, not to anyone. She sighed. She covered Buffy with a blanket. She hesitated for a few moments, staring at Buffy, and then kissed her gently on the temple.

"I love you, Buffy," she said softly and caressed her.

Then she got herself a spare blanket and sat in the chair.

When Buffy woke up in the morning, she had a headache. She moaned and slowly opened her eyes. Her vision was fuzzy for a moment, but when it cleared, she saw Faith sitting in a chair, covered with a blanket, sleeping. Buffy frowned, confused. Why was Faith sleeping in a chair. Why was she even in the same room? She looked around. It was Faith's room. Faith's bed. Why was she in Faith's bed? She tried to move, but she realized she was tied up. She frowned, confused. Why was she tied up?

"Em, Faith? Faith!"

Faith jerked and opened her eyes.

"What?" Her eyes went wide as she remembered the previous night. "Oh. Sorry." She got up and untied Buffy. "How do you feel?"

"I have a headache."

Faith smiled.

"You don't feel… em, horny?"

Buffy frowned.

"Horny?" she asked and sat up. "No. Why?"

"Well, we ran into an incubus yesterday and he kissed you."

Buffy's eyes went wide.

"A demon kissed me?"

Faith grinned.

"Yeah.

Buffy made a face.

"Gross."

"I had to tell Giles though."

"Oh." She looked around. "Em, why am I in your bed? Tied up?"

Faith blushed.

"You sure you want to know?"

Buffy raised an eyebrow, curious.

"Yes?" she said uncertainly.

Faith sighed.

"Well, after the incubus kissed you, you became all horny and you were all over me."

"What?" Buffy said, blushing, and her eyes went wide.

"Don't worry, I knocked you out before we could do something that we would both regret."

"Oh," Buffy said and relaxed somewhat. "Good." She rubbed her head. "I gotta call Mom."

"I told Giles to call her."

"Oh. What's the time?"

"Nine."

"Nine?!" Buffy quicky got up. "Snyder's gonna eat me up alive."

Faith chuckled.

"Em, B? It's Saturday."

Buffy stopped and looked at Faith, embarrassed.

"It is?"

"Yep."

Buffy relaxed.

"Good."

"You wanna take a shower?" Faith offered.

Buffy looked at herself.

"Nah. I'll go to Giles first and then home. I'll take a shower then."

"Okay. Then I'll take one myself. You gonna wait up or are you gonna go to Giles?"

"I'll wait," Buffy said. "I'll just call Mom and tell her I'm okay. And Giles, to tell him that we're coming."

"Okay," Faith said.

She took a fresh set of clothes and went to the bathroom.

Buffy first called her mother and then let Giles know that they would come over. Then she lay back on the bed and tried to remember the previous night. She was all over Faith? God, that was embarrassing. Not that she didn't want to be all over Faith, she just didn't want it to be a one night stand. She wanted it to last, but she wasn't sure Faith would want it to last. She was also surprised that Faith didn't take advantage of it, she knew Faith wanted her. She frowned. Where did that come from? How did she know that? She closed her eyes and slowly, bit by bit, the memories came back. Then her eyes snapped wide open. She had told Faith that she loved her. Which was true, by the way. And Faith told her that she loved her too. Which she didn't know whether it was true or not. And they had kissed. Twice. First she had kissed Faith and then Faith had kissed her. She licked her lips, but all trace of Faith was long gone. She also remembered that Faith was scared and about ready to cry. She wondered why. Did Faith love her? She had told her to wait until her head cleared, she had repelled her advances. In spite of the fact that she wanted her almost as badly as she wanted Faith. God, this was such a mess.

"Okay, I'm ready," Faith said as she got out of the bathroom.

"Do you love me?" Buffy asked, deciding to get straight to the point, and Faith froze.

"W-What?" Faith asked and Buffy could see that she was scared.

"Do you love me?" Buffy repeated the question.

"Buffy…"

"Yes or no?"

Faith looked down, trying to hide the tears in her eyes.

"No," she then said quietly and Buffy's face fell.

"Then why did you tell me you do?"

Faith looked at Buffy, shocked.

"You… remember?" she asked, gulping.

"Yes," Buffy said and Faith looked down, fidgeting with her fingers. "Well?"

"You… Em, you were so horny and I had to say something so I could knock you out and you wouldn't resist," Faith said, hoping she didn't sound like she was babbling.

Buffy stared at her for a few moments. She hesitated for a moment, not sure whether she should continue the conversation or not. She decided to continue. She got up and approached Faith. Then she gently lifted her chin and looked her in they eyes.

"I mean what I said," she said. "I do love you, Faith. And no, I'm not under the influence anymore. Whatever the demon did to me only… lowered my inhibitions. Look, there were many boys, and girls, at the Bronze and I could've gone after any one of them, but I went after you. Because I wanted you. I still do, but I'm not gonna bother you with it again. I just wanted you to know how I felt. I know, we will probably feel awkward around one another in the future, but I wanted you to know."

Faith's lips trembled and tears threatened to burst the dam. Buffy loved her! A possible future quickly went through her head, but she pushed it away. She wanted to tell Buffy she loved her, she wanted to be with her, but she was scared. And she didn't understand how Buffy could love her.

"H-How… can you?" she then asked quietly just as Buffy was about to turn.

"What?"

"How can you love me?"

Buffy looked at Faith, puzzled.

"What do you mean?"

"How… can you love someone like me?"

Buffy blinked. Then she shrugged.

"I don't know, I just do. I mean, every time I'm around you, it's… I don't know, I feel… great. And you're beautiful." She paused for a moment. "I would've said something before, but I wasn't sure you would want it to last and I didn't want to be just another one night stand."

"You… You would want to spend the rest of your life with me?"

Buffy smiled.

"Sure. Absolutely," she said and Faith gulped. "So, shall we go?"

Faith stared at her as she turned around. Buffy loved her and she wanted to spend the rest of her life with her. Then why the hell was she such a chicken? What did it matter what others thought of her, what she thought of herself? All that mattered was Buffy's opinion and Buffy wanted to spend the rest of her life with her.

"I… I love you," she said quietly.

She finally blinked her eyes and the tears started to run down her cheeks.

Buffy turned, surprised.

"What?"

"I love you," Faith repeated even more quietly.

Buffy stared at Faith, who was crying. Faith loved her! It was like a dream come true. Hell, it was a dream come true. Faith looked down when she didn't respond and Buffy realized she better do something quickly. She stepped closer and lifted Faith's chin again.

"I love you, Faith," she said and gently kissed her on the lips.

Faith was too surprised to respond at first, so Buffy repeated the kiss. This time Faith responded. It was a gentle, loving kiss and it didn't last long. Buffy smiled at Faith then and hugged her. Faith hugged her back and cried for a while.

"Feeling better?" Buffy asked when they stopped hugging.

Faith nodded and wiped her tears.

"Yes."

Buffy smiled.

"Why don't you freshen up first? Then we'll go to Giles, tell him about the incubus, the censured version, of course, and then we'll go to my place. Mom said she'll make us a breakfast. And then we'll talk. Okay?"

Faith hesitated for a moment and then she nodded.

"Yes," she said and smiled.

Buffy smiled back and gave her a quick peck on the nose.

"Now go, freshen up."

Faith nodded and went to the bathroom. When she was gone, Buffy did the five second version of the victory dance, happy like never before. Well, almost never.
