Further Adventures of Shang Pao & Da Wei 4 by Tauna ==== Da Wei and Shang Pao wandered through the streets of Macao. They had successfully negotiated the sale of the ship's treasure and set everything up for the crew's shore leave. Shang Pao complained of being hungry, but Da Wei still had business to attend to. He needed to get his house in Macao in order. Shang Pao told him where he was going so they could meet later. He wandered off for refreshment. Da Wei took care of what he needed to and headed out to meet Shang Pao. As he approached, his stomach turned to ice. It was the house of Cheng Li Chun. It looked very different from when he had been there last and the name had changed, but there was no doubt that it was the same place. He slipped in quietly, avoiding the staff. He spotted Shang Pao but before he could drag him out, that which Da Wei feared, happened. "Master Chiang, we did not expect to ever see you here again." The thin obsequious man made as if to close Da Wei off from Shang Pao. Da Wei stared him down and with a crack of his fan on the table, he sent the man scurrying backwards. The man then shifted his gaze to Shang Pao. His eyes raked over him in deep appreciation. He licked his lips, ever so slightly. Da Wei's eyes bored holes in him. "Lau, is Master Cheng in? Obviously I do not wish to see him." His tone had turned severe. Shang Pao's ears perked up. 'This could be interesting' he thought. "I'll make sure I convey your wishes to Master" replied Lau. He melted back into the crowd. Shang Pao stopped eating. He could feel Da Wei practically vibrating. Da Wei snapped open his fan and stood up. "Shang Pao..." his voice faded as he turned on his heel and faced Master Cheng. Cheng Li Chun was a tall, elegant man. He was in his early forties but very well kept. His face was angular and his nose sharp. He was quite handsome but at the same time quite menacing. He stood over Da Wei, and Shang Pao started to dislike what he was seeing. Da Wei looked at Cheng with an odd expression, which Shang Pao could not read. However, Shang Pao knew a threat when he saw one and he was seeing one right now. He stood, brushed the crumbs from his clothes and stepped around the table, effectively cutting Cheng off. Da Wei took the opening. What neither of them saw was the look of greed which enveloped Cheng's face. With a barely perceptible motion of his head, Cheng called for all hell to break loose. Guards came out of the woodwork. The patrons scattered like frightened birds. Shang Pao and Da Wei put their backs to one another and tried to make sense of the swirling bodies before them. None of the guards were their match but Shang Pao noticed that the fight was carrying him away from Da Wei. He saw Cheng watching him from the sidelines, an evil look on his face. That man made his skin crawl. He saw Da Wei get swarmed over by no less than fifteen guards. He cried out and lunged towards him. It was then his turn to be overwhelmed. A sharp blow from the hilt of one of the guard's swords knocked him senseless. He dropped like a sack of rice. They were both dragged off by several guards. ======== Cheng's private quarters were beautiful and just as Da Wei remembered them. There was the fine furniture, the beautiful antiques and the exquisitely crafted implements he used on his favorites. He watched the guards dump Shang Pao on the bed. He looked so lifeless. He tried to get to him but the guards held him firmly. Cheng entered in a cloud of silk. He stopped in front of Da Wei, his eyes assessing him. "Just like old times, eh?" he took Da Wei's chin in his hand. He held Da Wei's gaze. There was no longer fear in him, only hatred. Cheng enjoyed it. Da Wei waited for the strike that did not come. Instead, Cheng kissed him. Da Wei reacted, even though he didn't want to. Cheng felt it and laughed. "You're still my little slave..." Cheng personally clipped the wrist chains onto Da Wei. His small hands balled into fists. Cheng drew his fingertip across Da Wei's jaw. Da Wei's eyes were icy. Cheng laughed at him. He walked over to the table next to the bed. Da Wei recognized each and every item on it. Cheng checked the arrangement and satisfied, he turned to the limp form on the bed. He started to pull the clothes from Shang Pao. Da Wei lunged towards Cheng. "Guards! Take him across the hall." barked Cheng. He intercepted Da Wei with ease. He twisted Da Wei's arm and held him tight. "If you ask me nicely, you can be next" he whispered in Da Wei's ear. Da Wei tried to spit in Cheng's face. The guards dragged him out kicking. ======== Shang Pao came around slowly. His head hurt and he was cold. He felt hands all over him and they weren't Da Wei's. And since they weren't Da Wei's, they didn't belong there. "Hey!" he yelped. He tried to swing but his hands were tied together. He could see the cords ran through a ring on the wall. He tried to move his legs to escape the insistent hands, but they too were tied, and not together. He then realized that the reason he was cold was that he was naked. He stretched his neck but he could not see who was behind him. "Lovely, just lovely," cooed the voice. Shang Pao frantically tried to see who it was. Not knowing made him nervous. He fought with the ropes but with no success. Cheng enjoyed the feel of Shang Pao's smooth skin. His hands drank in the curves of his body. He traced line of bruises that Da Wei left earlier down Shang Pao's back. Cheng smiled to himself. The boy looked strong and was obviously amenable to his sort of fun. A fan scraped down Shang Pao's spine and rested on his bottom. It made small tapping motions, just like Da Wei did. He tensed slightly, expecting the fan to drop. A look of unbridled glee unfolded on Cheng's face. "Ahh, you know what comes next..." Cheng let the fan drop and dropped it hard. Cheng hit Shang Pao with the fan until it broke. Welts started to rise on Shang Pao's skin. He swore colorfully. Cheng drew a finger across Shang Pao's swelling skin. It turned bright red and heat rose from him. Shang Pao explained in great detail what Cheng could do with himself. Cheng laughed. He dragged the edge of his sleeve over Shang Pao's raw skin. The tingle of silk over his skin made Shang Pao shiver. He tried to move out of the way but was bound too closely. "Ahhh but that feels good, doesn't it..." Lips were close to his ear. Shang Pao could feel breath on his neck. Teeth nibbled his shoulder. A tongue ran down his spine. Shang Pao knew by the way his skin crawled that it was the man from the restaurant. Cheng stood back up and doffed his outer coat. He flipped it over Shang Pao and drew it slowly across his bare body. Shang Pao's hands balled into fists and he bit his lower lip. The feel of the silk was almost painful. "Why don't you beg me to stop...hmmmm?" Shang Pao made a spitting noise. Cheng's eyes narrowed. He chose something else from the table. Shang Pao howled in surprise. The crack of the leather straps echoed in his skull. No amount of fighting let him escape the whip. "You rottensonofawhore! Let ME GO!!!" he shouted. His breath came in sharp gasps, in rhythm with the falling straps. Cheng could tell from the pitch of Shang Pao's voice that tears were just beginning to form in those dark eyes. But it was not time to enjoy that yet. He chose another item from the array. Shang Pao felt something lightly run down the back of his leg. It tickled a bit and made him jump. Then it appeared on his back, and flicked its way down his sides. In spite of himself, Shang Pao found himself enjoying the sensation. Out of the corner of his eye, Shang Pao saw the source of the tickling. A peacock feather ran lightly over his shoulders. Shang Pao relaxed slightly. He was now utterly confused. "Now what shall we play with next...hmmm?" "Play? What is going on here? What is it you want?" There was a slight edge of panic in Shang Pao's voice. Cheng relished it. The feather continued to tease his flesh until his breathing had almost returned to normal. The feather was replaced by hands. Shang Pao jumped again in the ropes. Cheng's hands were probing and rough. "OW! get off me!" shouted Shang Pao. The realization came that this was in no way at all an interrogation. Fear rested in the pit of his stomach. He heard an irritated snort and felt something heavy run across his skin. He knew that feeling from a long time ago, from when he had been caught stealing as a boy. The bamboo rod came down with a stinging crack. Shang Pao buried his head. He bit his lip. The blows rained down. He could feel the blood welling on his back. The pain became intolerable. The tears spilled over and he finally began to scream. He passed out to the sound of Cheng's laughter. ======== Da Wei's hands made as if to break the wooden door. He could hear what Cheng was doing quite clearly. He started to become frantic. When he heard Shang Pao scream, he threw himself at the door. After the fifth hit, the door burst open and Da Wei flew into the waiting arms of Cheng's guards. They pinned him to the wall. Cheng emerged from his quarters laughing. He stood smiling, taunting Da Wei. "Do you know what I plan on doing to him Da Wei?" the shadow of evil passed over Cheng's elegant features. "I will turn him to me, as I did to you. He will not even remember your name when I have finished with him. Already he is tied with the silk cords. You remember them, don't you. He has adjusted to them well. Nearly as well as you did." Da Wei frowned. He composed himself and said nothing. "You have obviously started to train him. An excellent choice, he is exquisitely beautiful." Cheng paused and observed Da Wei. He stood rigid, trying desperately to remain in control of himself. He was going to greatly enjoy cracking the faŤade. "I beat him until he screamed, Da Wei, then I licked the blood from his back." He leaned slightly closer so Da Wei could see him savor the last droplet of blood on his lips. "He didn't even scream until the end. Such stamina!" Cheng leered at Da Wei. "I will teach him things he has never imagined." His eyes glowed with anticipation. "He has an excellent imagination, Cheng" Da Wei said dryly. Cheng laughed. A tinge of excess rang through it. "Even better Da Wei, Even better. I see you started him on the fan, as I used on you." Cheng's long fingers stroked his chin. "How do you take him? Tell me, does he cry out? I mean to know. Shall I do it in front of you?" Da Wei's lips narrowed. A black look crossed his face. He refused to say anything. "Yes, I believe I shall. When I take him, what will you be thinking? Will you see yourself there again?" He goaded Da Wei. Cheng assessed his expression and laughed. He knew he was making progress. "Shall we go now and get started? Your Shang Pao has the look of one who can go on for some time...Guards!" ====== The guards tossed Da Wei through the door. His eyes instantly went to Shang Pao's limp form. His long bare body covered the length of Cheng's bed. He tried to run to him but the guards cut him off. "Enough!" barked Cheng. In spite of himself, Da Wei stopped in his tracks. When he realized what he had done, Cheng smiled. "You always did obey well." Da Wei whirled, facing Cheng. Frustration, hatred and violence welled through him. There were only three guards this time and Da Wei cut through them as if they weren't there. He stalked towards Cheng. His chin was set stubborn and his eyes were wild. He flipped the chains on his hands like a weapon. "I've changed a bit since you last saw me" hissed Da Wei. "You have no hold over me anymore... And by the gods, I'll see you never have a hold over him either!" "How dare you!" demanded Cheng. Their eyes locked. Da Wei's face was like a stone. He did not slow. He swung the chain at Cheng, who countered calmly. "You miserable slave. You can not even protect yourself. How on earth do you think you will manage to protect him? You will stop this nonsense immediately." he commanded. Again Da Wei reacted without meaning to. A sneer crossed Cheng's face. Suddenly Da Wei heard a soft sound. His head turned towards Shang Pao and saw his lips move. He was mumbling Da Wei's name. Da Wei smiled. He turned towards Cheng with a cold look and attacked him with a fury. Cheng held his own for a few moments but Da Wei fought like a man possessed. The chain connected with Cheng's skull with a resounding crack. He had not even hit the floor when Da Wei was at Shang Pao's side, stroking his hair with shaking hands. "Just stay still. I'll have you out in a minute," he tried to sound reassuring. He quickly picked at the ropes. Shang Pao's hands fell limp to bed, his feet followed. Shang Pao groaned. He weakly started to flex his hands and feet, trying to get the circulation back. He began to swear. A smile crossed Da Wei's face. He went over to Cheng and searched his clothes. He found the key he was looking for and one other. He removed the irons and put them on Cheng. He then put both keys in his pocket. "OW!" Shang Pao tried to get up. The skin on his back was bleeding again. He flopped down with a groan. Da Wei rested his hand on Shang Pao's shoulder. He knelt on the floor so Shang Pao could see his face. "Be still..." he whispered. Shang Pao blinked at him for a moment, then recognition dawned. Shang Pao nodded and lay quietly. 'Damn' thought Da Wei. He held up the remains of Shang Pao's clothes. Cheng had obviously had fun with them. He began rooting through Cheng's things. He pulled out some pieces of clothing and went over to Shang Pao. "Now try to take it easy, this will hurt." Da Wei carefully placed a heavy cotton shirt on Shang Pao's shoulders. He winced only a little. Da Wei helped him up and into pants and a long coat. "I know the back way. Let's get moving..." ====== Da Wei was marginally surprised that the back exit was still there. He carried and dragged Shang Pao out of the building. His feet remembered the escape route he had used years before. They made their way to his house. Shang Pao drifted in and out of consciousness. Da Wei kicked the door until the servants answered. They were both hustled into the house. ==== Da Wei dabbed the damp cloth over Shang Pao's back. He peeled back the heavy cotton carefully. Da Wei finally removed the shirt. It was totally soaked with blood. He cleaned out the shreds of bamboo. Shang Pao kicked the bed but did not move from under Da Wei's hand. "Shang Pao, I'm going to put something on these cuts. It will hurt, a lot. Just don't swing at me...eh?" Shang Pao's head bobbed in the sheets. He laughed weakly. Da Wei took a small finger full of ointment from the jar and patted it lightly on the worst of the cuts. Shang Pao's body arched and he howled. He breathed raggedly. His eyes were squeezed into thin slits, tears working their way out of the corners. "No more..."muttered Shang Pao. "I'm not done yet...bear with it" Shang Pao's body arched with each fingerfull. "No more...please" breathed Shang Pao. A buzzing numbness started to creep over his back. His shoulders drooped as the pain left him. Da Wei finished up swiftly. "No. No more...Just rest." said Da Wei. He lay down next to Shang Pao. He slid under far enough to let Shang Pao use him as a pillow. Shang Pao's hand slid up Da wei's side and gathered him in close. Da Wei just lay there, stroking Shang Pao's hair. He felt the exhaustion take Shang Pao into sleep and he followed him there soon after. =====
