About Maura Imparato
Maura Imparato is a writer, artist and web designer. She has written news articles for Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business and a training guide for the Smithsonian Institution. She is currently updating faculty web pages and posting online content on Georgetown University's business school website, msb.georgetown.edu.
Maura has taught printmaking, painting and art history at the Arlington Artists' Academy for seven years. Her work has been exhibited at several venues throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, including the Rosslyn Spectrum, the Ellipse Gallery, Cassatt's Cafe and Gallery, and the Art-o-Matic exhibit, where she was a member of the Design Committee.
Prior to her work as a teacher, she updated database records for the National Institutes of Health and the Smithsonian Institution Libraries.
Maura earned her bachelor's degree from Mary Washington University and studied graphics and web design at the Corcoran School of Art.
