Donald-D's SIDECAR
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz. Brandy
1/2 oz. Cointreau
very small splash sweet n'sour
2 fresh lemon wedges
Description:
This is my "twist" on a classic Sidecar. Some people prefer a sidecar as Brandy/Triple Sec on the rocks with a lemon, but I think my version is very refreshing and a can be subbed for margaritas on a hot summer day.
Pour Brandy and Cointreau in a mixing tin half filled with ice. Splash a SMALL bit of sour into the tin and 2-3 lemon wedges. Now....take yer muddling stick and muddle the hell out of it! Pour into a frozen martini glass with a sugared rim. Voila!
THE PUSSYCAT
Ingredients:
2 oz. Stoli Ohranj
1 oz. pineapple juice
1 oz. oj
1/4 oz. Chambord drizzled on top.
Description:
Stole this version of a drink that looked tastey at the Pussycat Lounge in Scottsdale, AZ. while we were there. Combine the orange vodka, oj, and pine juice in a mixing tin half full of ice. Now, shake that mutha up......shake it..shake...shake it...shake it like a Polaroid picture! Serve up in a martini glass. Drizzle the Chambord over top in swirls. Oooooo....perty. The drink will layer, too.
the NEAPOLITAN:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz. 3 Olives Chocolate Vodka
1 1/2 oz. Bailey's Irish Cream
1/2 oz. Grenadine
Description:
This was introduced to me by Andy, our 3 Olives Vodka Rep.. Suppose to taste similar to Neapolitan Ice Cream. Well liquor may be used for Irish Cream, but results may vary. Combine all ingredients in a mixing tin half full of ice. Now, shake that mutha up......shake it..shake...shake it...shake it like a Polaroid picture! Serve up in a martini glass. Mmmmmmm....tastey.
GLADIATOR:
Ingredients:
1/2 oz. Amaretto
1/2 oz. Southern Comfort®
2 oz. Orange Juice
7-Up
Description:
Mix 1/2 oz Amaretto with 1/2 oz Southern Comfort. Drop into glass of 2 oz orange juice mixed with 2 oz 7-up.
PELE:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz. Amaretto
1 1/2 oz. Mount Gay Rum
1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
Description:
Squeeze the fresh juice into a mixing tin with the booze and half a tin of ice.
Now.....shake that mutha up...shake it..shake...shake it...shake it like a Polaroid picture!
Serve up in a martini glass.
