Today I'm not going to tell something about girls. I wish I would have scanner at home. It is my appearance for today. Funny business. … Now I nevertheless shall tell you one story (as I sad not about girls, sorry).
It was when I was in the institute. At that time I was addicted to chess. It was a lucky opportunity.
(Stop! I watched TV right now and heard funny phrase: "You must not play in sex, you must have it." A. Wolf.)
I'll continue, so I had a flat chess. And it was my lucky opportunity. Why? Because, try to play chess on the lecture with ordinary chess set. So I was able to play on the lectures all right. And that is why I was some kind of authority. We had to make photos for admission to the institute. And one of my chess mates made very unordinary kind of photo. He was strange, he was weird on it. It was sensation that his eyes were separately from his face. He sad he had one of the most terrible hangovers. It is very difficult to describe. In the "12 chairs" (book, written by Ilf & Petrov), the undertaker had eyes, which as he thought were flaming in the dark. So it was the impression.
The effect of this look was unbelievable. Everyone couldn't stand laughing looking on it photo. I was taken with it. So I had to change my voluble textbook on this photo. So I became an owner of this treasure. I could make betting 1 to 10 freely. I made a good show of it. This photo became familiar almost to each student of our year. (Another my chess-mate took it and didn't give it up. By the way he had a great success with a girls. And after that because I couldn't exchange my textbook to me backwards. I don't want to dramatize the whole business but I had some troubles on the exams).
The whole look on the picture was strange. But the cinch was in his eyes. They were not his. (Funny. There was pop song with a phrase: "Your glance is unlimitedly bewildered" - Neat description). You could fancy it was alien in the human disguise. But by no means it was fresh and well-to-do alien. It was impression that this mishap alien was asking himself: "What am I doing on this the most weird of all weirdest inhabited planets in the whole galaxy? And what an odd disguise I have. - Hm. Inexplicable."
So the same feeling I have by now.
