Well ladies and gents the aim of this page is to give you all a good understanding of the movies that are out there today in the theatres, on video, and on dvd. I use a rating system of 1 to 5 skulls where 1 is piss poor and 5 is a must see.
Here's how the ratings stack up:
=piss poor, avoid at all costs
=hey, unless you REALLY want to see this I wouldn't really recommend it
=this movie ain't half bad, a rental or matinee would suffice
=wow! most everybody's probably talking about this movie, and it's all good
=get off your lazy butt and see this now!!!!!!!!!!!
Plus there are half skulls in case a movie doesn't quite fit in one category or another.
Men In Black II (In Theaters Now) They're back. With some new stuff, but pretty much a lot the same old stuff as the last one. Once again agents J and K (Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones) are called into action to defend the earth from alien destruction. And of course their arsenal of high tech weapons and gadgets return too. Along with those java swilling aliens. Frank the talking dog is back too. And most of his scenes pretty much make the movie.
I give Men in Black II 1/2 (can't find my 1/2 skull pic....) skulls
Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (In Theaters Now) I admit, I had reservations about whether this movie would kick ass or not. Well I was totally blown away by the time this movie was over. I won't give any plot away, but I will give you 2 reasons to see this movie...More Eye candy than you can shake a stick at, and Yoda kicking some ass - old schooll Jedi Lightsaber style. N'uff said?! Trust me, I saw Episode one a total of 10 times in the theatre. I'll see this one as many if not more. My recommendation: "Force" yourself to see this movie!
I give Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones skulls
Spiderman (In Theaters Now) Wow. They did an excellent job adapting this comic book into a movie! I know that Spidey fans will find flaws or deviations from the canon, but all in all, this movie rocks! This movie has action, kick-ass special effects, romance, great writing, and some great cameos too! I can see why this movie has made over $200 million in under 2 weeks! My recommendation: Swing into a theatre today!
I give Spiderman skulls
The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring (In Theaters Now) What can I say, this movie is loooong! Even though it clocks in around 3 hours in length, every minute is worth it. Even if you haven't read the books by Tolkien, this movie will definitely entertain you. The special effects are nothing short of amazing! Good performances all around from the actors too. The next movie is due out this Christmas, with the third and final movie coming out Christmas 2003. My recommendation: Book you trip to Middle Earth now!
I give Fellowship of the Ring skulls
