The same Waffle sock after TWO machine washings and ONE drying, all contrary to yarn-label directions. :-( A sock tragedy! |

Pattern from www.socknitters.com
Gauge was 8 st. on 1 " needles; my guage on these needles was 9.5, so the socks are somewhat smaller, which I wanted.
Darling pattern, but when I make the next pair, I won't make the mistake of continuting the ribbing until the white decorative line! |

Summer Socks: Little Flowers |

Tennis socks made in Regia Cotton on size 1 needles. I substituted the Eye of Partridge Heel, which I like for a woman's sock.
This is a pattern called "Little Flowers" from Rebecca Aldrich Bowen.
I followed the directions, and THEY FIT!!! What a concept! |

Jackie's Errant Ankles Lace Socks (Jackie's Cybersocks Class at www.socknitters.com)
I love the pattern, especially as it continues down the heel flap and over the top of the foot. The Swirl toe was also new to me, and I like it much better than the standard one I had been doing. Despite a major mistake in reading the pattern (at least I made the mistake consistently!) it was a fun pattern, and I learned a lot from it.

First Opal Socks Mock cable in a short cuff, although the pattern is hard to see. Color was ok, but a little disappointing since there were no stripes. I liked the pooling of colors at the foot. Sock was comfy though. |

Kit Zerbe's Dimpled Sock Lovely pattern; fun to knit. The Eye of Patridge heel goes nicely with the pattern, I think. The yarn was Jagger Spun Highland Heather; Color: Maize |
|
|
My first handspun socks Merino wool. One skein of yarn was slightly thicker than the other, so I had to adjust the pattern as I went. |

Regia Sock done on 1 needles. I wanted to try a K5, P2 rib and a rolled top, but I didn't like it that much. Learning experience! Loved the colors and the sock looks great on. |
