Welcome to Sabrina's Nook for Being Creative

Hello, my name is Sabrina. I have a BA from Converse College and a MM from Central Washington University, both in flute performance. I also play piccolo, baroque flute, recorders, pennywhistle, guitar, saxophone, clarinet and piano (and I'm starting to fiddle around with fiddle and dulcimer). I enjoyed playing for musicals at the Cumberland County Playhouse in TN, and now I play at Haywood Arts Rep Theater in NC. I played with Spartanburg Symphony, Bryan Symphony, and the Western Carolina Civic Orchestra. So far, I'm on three CD's, but I hope to do more. My husband and I sing in the Western Carolina Community Chorus and play with The Carolina Consort, our early music group.

I enjoy watching movies, doing crafty things, playing games, and working on puzzles (especially word games). Right now I'm learning to sew and experimenting with tile mosaics.

I was married on January 5, 1999, to Jai, a wonderful and loving man. He is a musician, poet, and artist by night, and a pediatrician by day. He plays piano, recorders, and trumpet - we were in the high school band together.
