If, one day, I manage to find a land far away, Off from here I shall be. But if you follow me, Beware, the way is fearful, May even spill a few tearfuls. But if you are fortunate enough to find where I have gone, You must know that you can only seek me before the dawn. That brief time May make it hard to find. Hold fast to what you believe And then you shall achieve. But if you do not, you shall be lost to all. Beware! Be prepared for the fall. If you still surpass all those tests, THen the last shall be best. Try to hear and listen to my call, It shall be far, far from the hall. My call is feral and wild. But you, you are barely mild. Catch me if you can! For this has always been my plan.

I have sat on moonlit beaches and sunny shores, Swam past whales and fish and more. I have lived in palaces of gold, Conversed with knights and maidens bold. I have been to places human eyes have never seen, Followed paths and trails bordered by green. I have flown with the winds and among the clouds, Hidden away by fog or a misty shroud. I have followed the ley lines, Met along the way by watery undines. I have called up powers of long ago, Held my own against those who'd rather go. I have tasted hopes and dreams, Lived among them by the streams. I have gone far and away, Living how I wish to stay. |

Am I closing the door on part of my life? If I am, Oh! It hurts. Is this the end of what was once so dear to me? Just when I thought things were going my way. Only this one time... Something disaterous happens. We were friends! He was my dearest, most cherished friend And I didn't even know it till now. Now, it is too later, He has gone forever, never to return. It is stifling hot on this cold, cold winter's night. My tears fall like rain And something sounds outside my window. I do not believe that it is only The lifeless rose bushes against my screen. Something stirs me. The night outside is alive. And I? I am dead. |
