The Profile Of A Man (and I use the term loosely) Sentenced To Death.

(not literally of course.)

OR:

An excursion in getting to know me better.

So, you want to get to know me, do ya? Oh sure, I know how it goes, first you'll be pretty cautious, nodding your head silently in my direction as I pass you on the street, or maybe giving me a casual "hey Kev, how ya doin'", but soon, as your brashness swells to the size of a man's scrotum afflicted with elephantiasis, you'll be asking me to attend Bar Mitzvahs, drive your pregnant sister to the hospital, or sew a button onto your shirt. Well, if that's what you think is gonna happen, then you've got another thing commin' Buddy Boy (or Buddy Girl)!!! For the rest of you who are just curious, please read on!

First and foremost, I AM Canadian, which actually explains a lot if you think about it! I'm 19 years old, 6' 1", brown hair, blue eyes, a cancer, and I do like the feel of a cold puppy's nose on my cheek on a hot summer day (who doesn't!) I live in the beautiful city of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. For those of you who are just as ignorant about Canada as I am about America, BC is right above the state of Washington, and Vancouver (which is a 1 and 1/2 hour ferry ride from me) is where the X-Files was filmed up until this season. I'm a skater (as in I skateboard because it's fun and challenging, not because it's the trendy "in" thing to do), I'm a semi-vegan (as in I don't eat meat or dairy, but still use some animal products, and I'm too lazy to explain it all so I just say I'm a vegan), I have three tattoos (no piercings though, not my scene), I am fluent in French (if you're from Canada, and you go to France, everyone there automatically assumes that you know how to speak French, crazy eh?), I'm a HUGE Simpsons fan (obviously), I'm a HUGE Star Wars fan (it was either that or Star Trek right), I'm a HUGE Clive Barker fan, I've been writing fiction short stories and poetry for five years now, I've been writing short scripts for over a year now (Deed of Corey was written when I was 18), I've written, directed, edited, and produced one short film so far (it has just been accepted into the Victoria Film Festival, yay!), and I'm working on my first feature film script. Although I would only dream of writing for Simpsons as a career, it is really the only television show I'd want to work on. Screenwriting and filmmaking are what I'm truly interested in doing for a living. Next January, I'm starting my ten month program at the Vancouver Film School. It's one of the best schools in Canada, and Kevin (Clerks) Smith studied there for a while. Woah, this is getting way too long, anyway, I've started building my own webpage where I will showcase all of my writing and scripts. It is in the very early stages, but you can check it out at www.geocities.com/SoHo/Village/4214/index10.html or e-mail me at kevin_scromeda@bc.sympatico.ca with praise or problems with my work. Money donations keenly encouraged.

One more thing I forgot to mention. My brother, who helped me write some of "Deed" is (or thinks he is) the new messiah (no joke either). Also, the picture of the kid on my shirt that says 'I love you dad' is my brother. Cute future messiah, eh!!

Did someboday say fudge???
