Electric guitars - U-Joint
Jim Simandle, a.k.a. Stringdancer, has played bass in various Cleveland bands over the years, most notably the group Crystal Rain. A few years back he expanded his musical focus and switched to the six stringed electric guitar. Jim hooked-up with Universal Joint while surfing the Internet for Pagan sites. The timing was perfect: U-joint was in need of a guitar player at the time, and he joined the group after their first rehersal.
Jim's major influences include Alice Cooper, Frank Zappa, Eric Clapton, Woodie Guthrie, Robert Johnson and Ani Difranco.
Jim is a solitary ecclectic Witch and Tarot reader. His primary spiritual orientation is a belief in the God and Goddess as equals (often expressed as God/dess), and in the Balance of the Self. Jim is married and the father of two wonderful children.
