Zonian is a person who lived a bit of life in a land that is filled with rainforests, mountains, and a whole lot of sand. Some of us were born and lived there, yes; Some spent a life there encompassing much less. It's in the heart where we give birth to that wonderful feeling that's best on earth. A Zonian I became right from the start. It's just something I know deep in my heart. Nothing else could I be It's easy to see. It's that life in the past I so wish would last. I live in the now, oh yes, it is true. But my thoughts stray to the land that was the home that I knew. The home that was once my reality is now just a dream of finality. The Panama Canal Zone may disappear, But in my heart it will live always near.
