So you want to know about me? Or maybe you
don`t, well here it is anyway.
My name is Chris Blight and i`m an Engineer(computerised machinery, that sort of thing, not important anyway).
I got interested in computer graphics first when i got hold of a very
basic paint program called 'Neopaint'. I was hooked. Not on Neopaint you understand
but on the process involved. It wasn`t, though, until a few(did i say a few) years later
that i saw some software called 'Bryce' and got seriously interested in computer graphics.
What can you say about Bryce that hasn`t been said already. It`s easy to learn,
is as comprehensive as you`d need to start with, and can produce the most wonderful landscapes imaginable.
With Bryce and a good modeller - i use trueSpace, very intuitive to use
and can produce images of outstanding quality on it`s own - you have all you need,
except maybe for Poser.
Now there`s a handy program. Human models seem
to add that bit extra to a scene, bring it alive somehow.
And that alive quality, that`s what makes a scene realistic.
To have someone look at an image you created and say, "that could be real", is surely
the ultimate accolade.
