Good gentles, I'm happy to report that Festival Days 2008 at the Virginia Renaissance Faire are beginning on May 16th for 5 wonderful weekends, through June 14th! HUZZAH!!! Come Dance, Sing and share the Magic. At closing, each day during the Faire, the cast and the departing patrons gather at the gate and the cast recites this from Shakespeare's Tempest; Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits, and Are melted into air, into thin air: And like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd tow'rs, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve, And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on; and our little life Is rounded with a sleep.

from The Tempest, Act IV Scn 1 Come join us as we awaken again this year. See you at the Faire!
