The year of 2000 workshops were held on March 3rd and 4th at Tacoma Community College in Tacoma WA, 11th at De Anza College in Cupertino CA, finally on 15th through 17th at Arapahoe Coummunity College in Littleton CO. They were a great success! Everyone participated in the Wasa's workshop seemed to had a great time and enjoyed it. Even some people are already talking about his next workshop! Also, Wasaburo had an exhibition show at Jantzen Gallery in Arapahoe Community College during the NCECA 2000. During this show, NHK (Nihon Housou Kyoku: Japanese Broadcasting Corporation) came to report on NCECA and intervied Wasa. This clip was aired throughout Japan on March 26th during the NHK news program.
Wasa comments "I greatly appreciate everyone's help to make this all happen. I hope everybody enjoyed my workshop and show. I will work hard to come back and do more workshop and show in the future. Thank you again, and hope to see you all soon!"
Wasa will be returing to Tokushima, Japan on March 31st, and as soon as he gets back to Japan, he will be having an annual exhibiton show in Osaka, Japan. I am trying hard to update this page ASAP and put more pictures from each workshop and his show, so please check back again soon! Thanks.
