The story with this graph:
All positions went down some in 2001, don't know why.
QB: In 1999, we lowered passing TDs from 6 to 4.
RB: We haven't changed the points at all, but in 2000, Faulk and James went off and greatly boosted the Leege's average, it came down some in 2001, but still high relative to years prior.
WR: There has been little noticeable changes to WR--that will change next year with Tight Ends and as we lower the number we start to just 2.
K: Despite boosting the points for long field goals (40+ yds) from 5 to 7 a couple of years ago (I think in 2000), Kickers had their lowest average ever in 2001. Owners' lack of interest in pursuing Kickers is the culprit (the 3rd, 8th & 9th best kickers in the Leege went un-owned).
Defenses: In 1997 I think we added 1 point for sacks, that's why it jumped that year. The addition in 2000 of Kickoff and Punt returns as a Defensive score maybe has bumped Defenses, but probably not by much.
