of man from God because of sin. Ephesians 2:1 says, " And you hath he
quickened who were dead in trespasses and sins".
-

FAITH INVOLVES REPENTANCE, ACCEPTANCE,
AND COMPLETE RELIANCE ON JESUS.
Repentance is agreeing that
you are a sinner, and that you have sinned against God. It is hating your
sinful doings and deciding to turn away from your sins.
Faith involves acceptance
of God's forgiveness through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ.
It is complete reliance on Jesus and the saving power of His blood shed
on Calvary's cross.
(Psalm 51:3; 119:128; I Peter 1:18-19)

Lord and Saviour?___________
WHAT MUST YOU DO?
-
Admit that you are a sinner (Psalm
51:3).
-
Repent of your sins (Luke 13:3).
-
Accept the fact that you can't save
yourself (Titus 3:5).
-
Acknowledge that only Jesus can save
you because He died for your sins (John 3:16).
-
Trust in Him as your Lord and Savior
(John 6:47).
-
Receive Him as your Lord and Savior (John 1:12; Revelation 3:20).
-
Do you believe that you are a sinner but that the blood of Jesus is sufficient to save you from your sins?_
We are saved by grace through faith
(Eph.2:8-9). God knows our hearts if we are sincere in our faith
on the Lord Jesus or not. We receive the Lord Jesus through repentance
and faith. There is repentance when are convicted by the Spirit in our hearts of our sins (Jn.16:8). True faith comes as a result of hearing the gospel and understanding it. The Bible commmands us to call on the Lord (Rom.10:13)(Rom.10:17). Prayer is an expression of our faith. |
