group producing original work throughout California. Founded in 1981 in
San Jose, CA, relocated to Los Angeles in 1986. Director, producer, playwright,
performer, general manager, technical director, designer. Produced over
1,000 performances of 15 original works; named one of the top 10% of performing
companies in Los Angeles by the LA Weekly (1989). Developed funding, wrote
grants for special costuming production, video production (runner-up in
"Innovative" category in national Hometown USA cable-access production
competition). Managed studio, prepared State and Federal tax reporting,
payroll, acquisitions, etc. Wrote incorporation papers, by-laws. Trained
actors, developed educational programming, designed promotional materials.
Collaborated in special benefits with Art League San Jose, the de Saisset
Museum in Santa Clara, CA, and the San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art.
