Went to Rockport Maine this summer on vacation. Did a B&B for 3 days cruising the coast, went to several museums and got lot's of great pictures of boats, and a schooner for 4 days. I am glad to have found your site. I am from just outside Atlanta, GA but vacation in Eastport each summer. I was introduced to model boat building by a local gentleman, Mr. Snip Robinson of Eastport, ME. I have completed a "from scratch" model of the m ine lobster boat from plans by Midwest and am working on the second. I hope one day to build a full sized one or at least an operational scale one.
