for a class about the history of Asian art that focuses on 6,000 years of Chinese art with
references to Japanese, Korean and Indian art. Here you will find selected images
organized by topics, recommendations for other readings, additional information, and study
questions. This site supplements lectures by the instructor and readings in The Arts of China by Michael Sullivan and A History of Far Eastern Art by Sherman E. Lee. The study guide will also be useful for people who are not taking a particular class but simply want to look at Asian art.
