Wordshop Poems
Oakland Museum
30th Anniversary
September 25,
1999
The Oakland Museum celebrated
its 30th anniversary with a day of music, films, games and poetry. During
the day-long poetry marathon there was a Wordshop where people could write,
as well as listen to, poems. People wrote quick poems during a fifteen-minute
display of slides and nature sounds from the Oakland Museum collection.
Several people were willing to share their draft poems. Click on the names
to see what they wrote:
Note: Diane Wang
posted these poems collected at the Wordshop. If she has misread the handwriting,
please send corrections to dw@think-ink.net.
