G'day and all that. I usually abhor the pleasantries that open conversation, but I guess I should at least introduce myself. You can call me Cameo.

20 years ago, on a Friday the 13th, there was born a wee little girl child. This child, of course, was my good self. Even from birth, I was something out of the ordinary - I was very much a good girl... always staying up late, and sleeping all day, so Mummy could go to work. That's still the case... sleep all day, party all night and let someone else do the work.

As a wee babe, I suffered from an excess of hormones, an affliction which has sadly followed me throughout my life.

I grew up in Tallangatta (don't go looking in your maps, you won't find it) a small town near Lake Hume, in Victoria, Australia. It's not known for much. It has waterskiing, dairy cows and an unusual history.

My formative years were spent there, so naturally, I've grown up warped. How could it be otherwise, in a place where nothing opens after 5:30 pm????

I now live in Melbourne, one of my most favourite cities ever!! I pretend to study at Monash University, but really, I don't know exactly what I'm doing. My course is a Bachelor of Arts - Languages, I'm studying Linguistics, Italian and Indonesian, but I don't know what I'll do with this degree. I'm thinking of becoming a translator. But for now, I'm now a sub-editor at the student newspaper, I do some work with Activities, and I spend many a lecture sitting in the SAS lounge. I managed to fail Japanese in the first semester of second year, so now I get to be a part-time student - even lazier than usual. It can't be good for me.

Apart from Melbourne, and Tallangatta, the only other place I've ever resided in, was the beautiful city of Yogyakarta, in Indonesia. It was an experience which changed my life.

Hmm.. I have a few passions in life... I love music, manga, travel, literature and languages. I could rave senseless about them, but later, 'kan?

For me, my homepage is just a place to dump thoughts and feelings and opinions and whatever. I'm not expecting you to enjoy it, or think it's top quality. But it gives me something to do every now and then.
