Well, looks like I got my blogger up and going, now on my geocities site. I never really liked the crosswinds site anyway--too slow, popups (well geocities has popups, but they aren't as obtrusive), plus now you have to pay on crosswinds to use the ftp, some stupid people abusing the free service to further their own gains or some such tomfoolery. Anyway, i need to get back to work.

It is now 12:10 am, I am waiting for a file to download. Work starts in 7 hours and 49 minutes (it's 12:11 now), which means I will reasonably get to bed by 12:30 which will only give me 7 hours and 30 minutes until work, but only 6 hours and 31 minutes (my alarm is set for 7:01) until my alarm goes off, which means I will then hit the snooze button and sleep for another nine minutes leaving only 50 minutes in which to get ready for work and get there, but i think I'll snooze once more for nine minutes or course leaving myself only 41 minutes to eat breakfast, read the next chapter of 2Samuel and of Psalms, get dressed, put on deoderant, brush my teeth, wash my hair, walk out to my car, start the car (after getting in it) and then driving to work and getting there hopefull at 7:50 am which is now 7 hours and 35 minutes from now. and my file is still not downloaded.

the night...12:03 am...all was quiet. Too quiet. Suddenly all Iowa broke loose! Ben blogged. "At least say excuse me when you do that" someone shouted. Random thoughts drifted by in a malaise of dreary moroseness not quite able to be caught. One was caught, though, and sentenced to transcription.
