Friendship

To handle yourself, use your head; To handle others, use your heart.
Anger is only one letter short of danger.
If someone betrays you once, it's his/her fault; If he/she betrays you twice, it's your fault.
Great minds discuss ideas; Average minds discuss events; Small minds discuss people.
God gives every bird it's food, But he does not throw it into it's nest.
He who loses money, loses much; He who loses a friend, loses more; He who loses faith, loses all.
Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art.
Learn from the mistakes of others. You can't live long enough to make them all yourself.
The tongue weighs practically nothing, But so few people can hold it.

A friend is someone we turn to, When our spirits need a lift. A friend is someone we treasure, For our friendship is a gift. A friend is someone who fills our lives, With beauty, joy, and grace. And makes the world we live in, A better and happier place.

This little Angel is dedicated to Jim Garlington for all the wonderful friendship and help he has given to me this Year! Jim you are in my prayers always. This is your guardian Angel please take care my dear Sweet friend.Please say a prayer for Jim if You read this.God Bless You

FRIENDSHIP

Friendship is a strange thing....we find ourselves telling each other the deepest details of our lives...things we don't even share with our families who raised us...But what is a friend? A confidant? A lover? A fellow email junkie? A shoulder to cry on? an ear to listen? a heart to feel?...A friend is all these things...and more. No matter where we met,....I call you friend. A word so small...yet so large in feeling...a word filled with emotion. It is true great things come in small packages.

Once the package of friendship has been opened, it can never be closed...it is a constant book always written...waiting to be read...and enjoyed

We may have our disagreements...we may argue...we may concern one another... friendship is a unique bond that lasts through it all.... A part of me is put into my friends...some it is my humor...some it is my listening ear...some it is real life experiences...some it is my romanticism...but with all, it is friendship. Friendships forged are a construct stronger than steel built as a foundation....necessary for life...and necessary for love. :-)

Friends, you and me.... you brought another friend... and then there were 3... we started our group... Our circle of friends... and like that circle... there is no beginning or end.. Keep this going.... Email all your friends this message.... Email all those friends you never met.... Those you have... and those you've lost along the way... This is to all wonderful people I have met personally or online!

Forgives your mistakes

Makes a difference in your life
Never Judges
Offers support
Picks you up
Quiets your fears
Raises your spirits
Says nice things about you
Tells you the truth when you need to hear it
Understands you
Values you
Walks beside you

Yells at you when you won't listen and
Zaps you back to reality
May we always be "good buddies"
May we always be "good friends"
and may our friendship be the kind
that will never end.

THE ABC'S OF FRIENDSHIP

Always be honest, would you want THEM to lie to you?
Be there when they need you, or you may wind up alone.
Cheer them on, we all need encouragement now and then.
Don't look for their faults, even if you have none.
Encourage their dreams, what would we be without them?
Forgive them, you just MAY do something wrong sometime.
Get together often, misery loves company, so does glee.
Have faith in them, the human animal is remarkable.
Include them, you may need to be included sometime.
Just be there when they need you.
Know when they need a hug, and couldn't you use one?
Love them unconditionally, that is the ONLY condition.
Make them feel special, because aren't we ALL special?
Never forget them, who wants to feel forgotten?
Offer to help, and know when "No thanks" is just politeness.
Praise them honestly and openly.
Quietly disagree, noisy NO's make enemies.
Really listen, a friendly ear is a soothing balm.
Say you're sorry, don't let them assume it.
Talk frequently, communication is important.
Use good judgment.
Verbalize your feelings!
Wish them luck, hopefully good!
Xamine your motives before you "help" out.
Your words count, use them wisely.
Zip your lips when told a secret.

With which I'm blessed,
My problems have been few,
But of all, this one's the best
To have a friend like you.

In times of trouble

"Just ask, I'll help you through it."

And I can think
of nothing more
That I could wisely do,
Than know a friend,
And be a friend,
And have a friend like you.

When God Created Mothers

When the good Lord was creating mothers He was into His sixth day of "overtime" when the angel appeared and said, "You're doing a lot of fiddling around on this one."
And the Lord said, "Have you read the specs on this order? She has to be completely washable, but not plastic; Have 180 moveable parts... all replaceable; Run on black coffee and leftovers; Have a lap that disappears when she stands up; A kiss that can cure anything from a broken leg to a disappointed love; And six pairs of hands."
The angel shook her head slowly and said, "Six pairs of hands... no way."
"It's not the hands that are causing me problems," said the Lord. "It's the three pairs of eyes that mothers have to have."
"That's on the standard model?" asked the angel.

The Lord nodded. "One pair that sees through closed doors when she asks, "What are you kids doing in there?" when she already knows. Another here in the back of her head that sees what she shouldn't but what she has to know, and of course the ones here in front that can look at a child when he goofs up and say, "I understand and I Love You" without so much as uttering a word."
"Lord", said the angel, tugging His sleeve gently, "Come to bed. Tomorrow..."
"I can't," said the Lord, "I'm so close to creating something so close to myself. Already I have one who heals herself when she is sick... can feed a family of six on one pound of hamburger... and can get a nine-year-old to stand under a shower."
The angel circled the model of a mother very slowly. "It's too soft," she sighed.
"But tough!" said the Lord excitedly. "You cannot imagine what this mother can do or endure." "Can it think?" "Not only think, but it can reason and compromise," said the Creator.
Finally, the angel bent over and ran her finger across the cheek."There's a leak," she pronounced. "I told You. You were trying to put too much into this model."
"It's not a leak," said the Lord, "it's a tear."

Let me tell you alittle about myself.The love of my life is my dear husband Barry and my precious son Joshua, he is the dearest Son any Mother could have, and all my children who are grown now are precious and loved dearly. I have three beautiful grandsons, they are all beautiful to me, and I love them all dearly.And I love all of my family very much, they will never know how they have touched my Life and made it all so wonderful.And my precious niece Debra Lynn who shared the poem with me afew Christmas ago,about "When God Created Mothers" that was so kind and thoughtful of her, I adore her and always have and always will.

Now my friend's here online You are the most special and dearest friend's one could ever have meant, even though we have never meant face to face,I can truely say you are the Sweetest people in all the world, everyone of you.You have touched my Heart in so many ways... I hope someday to meet all of you.May God Bless and care for everyone that I know and all the children and people in the world.My blessing of love to each and everyone of you.
