The easiest way to make the Meadornack sound more palatable is with the comforting familiarity of images. It adds even more sugar to the medicine when the sound correspond with the images. Ahh. Delicious.

Slippy Breadstick and Donnie Maleriamax's initial intentions for the Soundtrack experiments were to use the action of film to dictate the flow and composition of improvised sound in order to create pieces of music that would stand on their own. But the All-Stars soon realized that these compositions were much more enjoyable when accompanied by the original film.

The first experiment, Bloodsport (performed by Slippy and Donnie and starring Jean Claude Van Damme), featured the first thirty minutes of the movie with all the sound replaced by the digitally enhanced voices of Slippy and Donnie. Particular sounds and textures were applied to specific characters used to express their actions and feelings, with almost no use of verbal language.

The success of the first experiment opened the door to many new avenues of improvisational devices. Post-production sound added to the All-Stars own films and the integration of television and video into the Hat Game are only a few of the developments related to the historical Soundtrack endeavors.
