"Our Maiden’s Fire" is truly dedicated to all of God’s ladies that have come into my life, yet I wish that all may share these words for encouraging those wives and daughters of your own, and for the parents of the lost children of the Columbine shootings, for those who stood their ground when it got down to the question of faith, especially to Rachel Scott who earned her wings that dark
day. Her father Darrel, now courageously voices his views of instilling the virtuous battle our children are facing. God bless you Darrel. There are two very special girls that unknowingly prompted me to start this poetic work, both named Kate. One of the early bloom, a Preachers daughter filled with the Living God, a real inspiring example of a child on fire for Jesus. Thank you so much for being my friend Katie, you shine. The other is Catherine, the latter bloom of the Lord's intention of a radiant flower for all to see, filled with all beauty inside and out, soon to be my wife, I pray. All of these ladies are very much as a modern day Joan of Arc, in that of which it takes to do as they have done in today’s society, for they all suffer the wound. Such are the seeds of boldness in their revealed hearts, baring fruit out in the field of life, because they walked before all in the Faith of Jesus. So when you find Him shining through one as these bold flowers, draw near and learn. Treat her as she so deserves. We depend on her, as the heart of the grandest tree is the finest wood for building a Treasure Chest of Hope, so is she filled with the fragrance of her bloom. . . That flower forever within her . . . .
I love you all
A King without a Joan of Arc Who sees her coming in the spring We find her in our public schools She loves without a judgment call Like Joan of Arc in modern time Peer pressure comes that she may fight She floats throughout the mind and heart She only leaves a memory sweet As she was there before with God |
She strikes a blow with gentle eyes And when her tears should fall on you And flying still, she’ll always be Please take in every word she breathes Above all these, this child will speak She rides upon a mighty steed And feed, they do . . . from heart to heart These tender grapes upon His vine |
Amen |
