If there is a theme this week, it is this: email I have read. Ananda gave me a headsup on a site which features interactive clips of gross animation. The one that caught my eye was the self-explanatory Frog Blender 2000. It caught my eye because I had just read a story about an art exhibition in Denmark that explored ethics using live goldfish + blender + you (if that link has expired, try this one). I am now waiting for the first artist who will combine the two works: an electronic interface that can control a real blender with a real live thing in it. But then again, what's the point? We all know what the results would be. |
