Over the years, I've been become more and more interested in words. In fact, I'm afraid I'm turning into a word-geek. 

I have a particular facination with new words which is why I sought out Merriam-Webster's Barnhart Excerpts. New words mean new experiences or ideas to convey. From reading this quarterly on new words, I now am familiar with the phenomenon 'suicide by cop'. We live in strange days indeed.
