I've been reading books again. While this has been eating into my magazine reading, I've found more often than not, that the two formats have been dovetailing nicely for me.

Case in point:

Last week, I checked Malcolm Gladwell's site to check up on what he's been writing for the New Yorker. The article that immediately demanded my attention was:

I would describe the article as three books that I have recently read: Jane Jacob's The Life and Death of Great American Cities meets The Social Life of Information meets How Buildings Learn: What Happens After They Are Built.
