I today I was at the local farmer's market doing some grocery shopping when I saw a man wearing a particular promotional t-shirt. 

It was part of recent Canadian beer company's promotion of the Stanley Cup playoffs. The premise was that with every 2-4 of beer would come a t-shirt with a printed pledge that the wearer would undergo if their team won the Stanley Cup.

The gentleman's shirt read: 

If my team wins the Stanley Cup 
I would alter my DNA

At this point of the story, I should mention that the gentleman in question was unquestionably someone with Down's Syndrome.

And I thought, is this man a Colorado Avalanche fan? Is this some sort of sick joke?
