Letters... I've got
letters. Letter One! In your Jan. 30, 2001 article, you state:
Hello Elizabeth, (who I strongly suspect works for Questia by the very fact that she cares about accuracy of its pricing scheme, but I cannot confirm such a hunch) Being persuasive and being accurate are (sadly) two different things. That being said, I have since updated my January 30, 2001 entry to note that currently, a year's subscription of Questia is now $150 a year! At $150 a pop, Questia now needs 900,000 subscribers just make the up the start-up money lent by its venture capitalists. This means that Questia needs more subscribers than the New Yorker (confirmed subscription number of 813,434). Will OCLC bail out Questia too? Place your bets now! Letter Two! 1) ... thanks for the "obsessions" link. of all the response the site generates, it still surprises me how *little* of it has to do with oobi, so i'm always glad for any oobi attention.
Oops. Corrected!
I like to think that I am merely between obsessions. Letter Three! Um. I accidentally erased letter three. It was from Ananda who suggested that where I last mentioned the Amish, I should have referred to the Mennonites. It's been a while since I've received this email - I can't even remember what entry he was referring to.
