I have been perusing Amazon's "Best Books of 2001: Customer Favorites"  and I find the list quite odd.

The best selling book of 2001 is : Harry Potter Schoolbooks: Quidditch Through the Ages and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. The second best selling book is John Adams and the third is "Who Moved My Cheese". The juxtaposition of these three items makes no sense to me. John Adams? As if!

But then again, can you image much sense from a list that ranks a book that doesn't even exist yet as it's 22nd best selling item?

After browsing the various lists at the Best Books of 2001 "Store", I can only bring forth this insight:

 Critics never read self-help books.
