Guinness Is Good For You

This is a series of self - portraits which combine screenprinting and acrylic paint. They were the result of a class assignment which reqired a self-portrait in high realism. Since I never was fond of reality I decided to choose an alternate meaning for high realism with an emphasis on the HIGH. These portraits are about the transformation of reality by imagination and the conduit to the imagination is Guinness!
