A LITTLE ABOUT AIRBRUSHING:
Airbrushing is a technical medium that is used for many different things. Photo retouching is a common field for using airbrush. Technical illustrations on walls and automobiles, jetskis, motorcycles and just about anything else you can think of can be painted with an airbrush.
I paint with airbrush on just about anything. My favorite subject is any kind of animal---dogs, horses, dolphins, whales...you name it. I started airbrushing when I was in high school. I took a "Technical Illustration" class and I was hooked. For several summers after that, I worked at Six Flags-Astroworld in Houston, Texas-- painting t-shirts, hats, and other things that people wanted. After college, it became solely my hobby except for a brief period when I lived in Orlando, Florida---where it has got to be the Capital of Airbrushing!!! Anyway, that brings us to the present---welcome to Rainmyst Airbrushing!
Here is a metal plate I painted. The plate is the same size as a vehicle license plate. Some people put them on their vehicles but they are also used as Xpen nametags and wallhangings!
Here is a unicorn on a black t-shirt.
This is another license plate. This one is of my little Reno, painted just a month after he went to the Rainbow Bridge. It isn't an actual likeness of him since I wasn't ready then to work too closely with details in photographs of Reno. I just wanted to put the idea that I was thinking of him.
Here are two license plates I did for Marie Miller to put on her vehicles. Can you believe this picture!?!---Marie actually got her dogs to stay next to the truck and license plate for the picture!! We'll see if she can actually get her birds to do the same!!
This is one of my personal favorites. Believe it or not, it is a t-shirt that I wear often. I have also painted this design on a denim jacket. I am going to be working on lots more exotic and wild animals so keep checking back.
I will be adding more images very soon---So keep tuning in!!! Thanks for visiting!!!
