Uisce, Aer, Domhan, Tine
The above title in Irish refers to the elemental forces of :water, air,
earth and fire described by the four photographic images at the centre of
each wooden house structure. Around the base of the figure the embedded
text "All words are part of the word" acknowledges the writing
of Northrope Frye and acts as a means to reconsider certain universal allegories,
from a secular viewpoint. In an attempt to re-invest these symbols with
meaning.
The revealed figure with cotton cloth on the floor is surrounded by a circle
of ashes-collected from the fireplaces of friends and relatives.
