The people of the UQ-VNSA committee held their dance at the Gig nightclub later on in the first semester. The students at QUT were invited to come along, since they attended our very own dance party. The club was packed due to limited space in the club. There was hardly any place to dance. For some of the duys at QUT, it was the chance to meet the girls from our neighbouring university. For some of us it was the way to start the holidays after the hectic exam period. We filled out up our brains with knowlegde depleting alcohol to empty our brains of the stuff that we studied hard for, just in the name of fun and having a good time.
