A Fairy Tale

Once there was a jellyfish in the dark, sparkling underwaters of the Adriatic Sea. This jellyfish was a very special jellyfish. It had beautiful electric tentacles. The thing about its tentacles though was that it had to be complete darkness for them to glow... and since the sun filtered down through the waves, no one ever got to see them.

The jellyfish knew that it was more beautiful than any of the other animals though... but they called him Blob-face ..cause to them he just slumped around all mushy like. So one day the jellyfish floated to the Sea Urchin's store. The Sea Urchin was a Merchant that sold many costumes..some of fish with glittery fins, and starfish with diamond arms..and octopuses and anything else you could imagine. The Jellyfish, who could bend and squeeze any which way, got a fish costume and swam away.

He soon met up with some fish and they soon became good friends. They became such good friends in fact, that the jellyfish decided to show the fish his beautiful tentacles... cause inside the costume, if he opened the mouth just a bit..they could see him sparkle.

But when the fish saw him undoing the costume they realized he was an imposter. They had heard all their lives about such pathetic animals..that dressed up as others to gain social and political acceptance. So they quietly and politly avoided the jellyfish... so much so that the jellyfish bought different costumes and wore them all... always trying to unzip them and show the animals what he truly was.

But the fish told the octopus who told the starfish who told the clown fish ( the clown fish didn't care, they were silly creatures that liked to roll on their bellies all day) so finally the animals confronted the jellyfish and said:

"Why do you always try to be something you're not? You are a jellyfish..not a starfish, not an octopus.. You are a jellyfish, and that's a fine thing to be."

And the jellyfish peeked out of its Sea Horse costume and whispered, "But you guys could see my tentacles if you'd peek inside the costume.. if you'd just try"

So the animals crept closer and the jellyfish slowly unzipped it... and they crowded around, still mumbling about how dumb the jellyfish was and what Low-Self-Esteem it must have. And the jellyfish started to shimmer...

AND THEN IT FLEW OUT OF THE COSTUME AND WRAPPED ITS TENTACLES AROUND THEM AND KILLED ALL OF THEM.
AND THEN IT INGESTED THEM!!!
AND SINCE JELLYFISH ARE CLEAR IT FLOATED ABOUT THE SEA WITH MR. FISH AND MR. OCTOPUS'S GUTTS ROTTING INSIDE IT FOR EVERYONE TO SEE!!!!!
