- a female Fishing Cat, she's a new arrival at Easy Street. She is very shy, and will run for cover at the sight of a human. If you want to get a look at her, you have to sneak up very quietly and peek from around the corner. When people come to Easy Street to fish, they must donate part of their catch to her as payment.
This strongly built cat is found in the swamps and marshes of southern and southeastern Asia. The
Fishing Cat's diet consists of frogs, fish, snakes, birds, and small mammals. It hunts on the land, but
is frequently found diving into ponds and streams to catch its prey. This cat does its hunting during
the day. It's head and body length can reach up to 2 feet 10 inches, tail length up to 1 foot 1 inch,
shoulder height up to 1 foot 4 inches and weights up to 31 pounds. After a gestation period of 63
days, the female gives birth to 2 to 3 offspring.
