No more Monkeeing around!!!
I havent updated in a long long time! There is not much to say actually. I am thinking of deleting this page, but i dont want to give it up quite yet!! I worked hard to make this page like it is now.
Many of you who get to this page know Mike Nesmith as a Monkee.
Well, he WAS a Monkee, but he has long since moved on. He has made many great solo albums, dabbled in video, eventually creating the concept, if not the finished version, of Mtv, and even recently put out a first novel. I think Mike has been shortchanged by the Monkees label that everyone has put on him. If you have ever listened to his solo stuff, it is tremendous, In my opinion, he was hampered his whole life(after the Monkees)by this label. Hopefully this page will get you thinking about his solo career, if it doesnt, I hope you just have fun :-)

My rant for the week
Stupid lawsuits!!!!!I am sick of hearing about people suing other people because they broke a fingernail, or thier hair was out of place. I dont like the idea of an inmate in jail for murder suing because his cell got a little too hot. I dont have air conditioning, and yet somehow I survive. A woman sued another woman when her husband cheated on her. In my humble little opinion, that makes it harder for the person who has a valid lawsuit to actually be taken seriously.
If you get hurt, or someone really and truly violated your rights, then sue. get your damages, and your honest suffering. But to sue for 10 million dollars for a ruined suit? If everyone sued for suffering, there would be a lot of high school nerds, geeks, outcasts, suing all thier classmates. i am suprised it hasnt happened yet.
It has gotten to be a joke to say, dont do that, or I might sue you. The sad thing is, that you never know, who or why you will get sued. Its going to be so the only people that can sue, are the ones who have tons of money, and that is not a good thing
