Born in Zurich, Switzerland in 1975 (and having lived in both Switzerland and America - and having dual citizenship), I am truly half & half, but proud to have the experience and knowledge of both cultures / countries. The natural beauty of Switzerland and my schooling in photography and film in America have helped direct my interest in the visual arts.
The media, especially TV and film, have had a profound impact on me (i.e.: learning english when I first came to America). Pictures get the information to the public quicker than words and explain it in a way words can not.
Telling a story, or capturing the essence, the moment, is the reason I am drawn the visual arts. Whether it is the beautiful world of fashion, freezing a moment in film, or making my version of fine art.
