They are Christian, Pagan, Wiccan, ex-Catholic, psuedo-Buddhist, stoic, atheist, and seekers. The people I surround myself with are clouded with many different ideals, thoughts, questions, and each is equipped with a set of their own "self-evident truths." My truths are as follows:
There is nothing stronger than the power of belief.
What do you believe in?
How do you define yourself?
I AM
lonely.
a liar.
small.
fragile.
I SEE
beauty.
life.
pain in others'
pain in my own eyes.
I WANT to live in a house with cloud ceilings and strings of white lights and cheap Persian rugs, but most importantly someone to live with me. a stranger, my lover, a beautiful young redhead i pulled off the street, i could get to know someone and that is what love is (?).
i want nothing more than a studio apartment with walls painted a matte dark blue, strings of white lights and dried roses hanging about, and a stand-up piano that hasn't been tuned in thirty years which i bought from a chruch for fifty dollars. well, maybe a hundred.
and of course, my cats.
