To Mom

Mom- You have always been there, to show me that you care;

When I can't handle the life I have to live, you always have a smile and a hug to give.

When things are so dark and nothing seems right,

I will run to you for you are my light.

You protect me from my fears and always ease the pain

You wipe away the tears and try to keep me sane.

All I really know, is that friends come and go
