The priorities of my country never cease to amaze me. In this country athletes are tested for drugs. If I want some low paying, demeaning job I must first submit some bodily fluids to be screened so that my employer will know what I do with my free time. I find both of these practices offensive although I do not do drugs. But them's the breaks. But the Supreme Court has now declared it unconstitutional to test candidates for public office before they are allowed to be placed on the ballot. So what this boils down to is that if I want to cut grass for my local government I must be drug free, but if I want to run for office and set policy for the people that cut the grass I can hang out with Keith Richards. What a country.
