To listen to my intuition,
is to identify with my entire awareness,
to be my entire experience,
and not just my conscious perception.
My total awareness synthesizes
into a calm sense of direction
that is above reason.
It is only when
my attention becomes fixated
that I act like a part,
rather than a whole.
When I favor my conscious perception
over my total awareness,
I can no longer hear the rhythm
of the whole calmness
that accompanies the whole fear
which accompanies the part of intuition
that goes beyond the timeless
figure-ground focus of conscious perception.
It is said that when Buddha was first Enlightened
he was asked,
"Are you a God?"
"No," he replied.
"Are you a saint?"
"No."
"Then what are you?"
