Hi there, come in, sit down - oh wait, you probably already are...anyway, as you can guess, this page is yes, all about me. So let me jump right in!

I live in Amherst, MA, right in the middle of the Pioneer Valley, a great place to live and home to 5 colleges - Amherst, Hampshire, Mt. Holyoke, Umass and Smith - my own alma mater.

I'm 2nd generation American of Pakistani descent, born in Chicago. Currently, I work at the University of Massachusetts and also go to school. I cross cultures constantly - love and feel very lucky to belong to both.

In my spare time, I read, garden, exercise, hang out with family & friends. I'm also an aspiring writer and plan to put some of my poetry on this page eventually.

My favorite band for years now has been the Indigo Girls. The power of their music & the beauty of their lyrics just blows me away - evermore complex and profound. And they're even more awesome in person.
I also watch the X-Files regularly. Check out some of the fan-fiction out there - the talent that people have is truly amazing - I just don't know how they find the time! Here's the spooky theme music - it's pretty cool even if you don't watch the show. Especially for Halloween.

Lastly, I have some sound and art collections - always improving as disk space allows (it's an ongoing thing...Please check them out and let me know what you think!
