This is the big hustle bustle of Hong Kong. It is the night of the Chinese handover to communist rule. It was a very exciting time to have been there! This picture was taken in Tsim Sha Tsui near Nathan Road where the majority of the people were to get a view of the waterfront fireworks. There were literally millions of people there from all over the world. Now that it has come and gone, there has not been much change. I guess we shall just have to wait and see!!

The fireworks were excellent except for the fact that it rained all night! The waterfront was blocked! The first night fireworks were awesome, the second night was a little slow but everyone was out and had a great time ringing in the new changeover.
