Hi, I'm Lisa Wade. Check back later and
I'll have more. But for now, I want to make a
page in memory of my friend Eddie.

EDDIE'S PAGE

LISA MICHELLE WADE
April 22, 1985 - September 20, 2000

Hi. This is Lisa's mom. I kept telling Lisa she needed to finish this page, but she said she didn't know what to put on it. I suggested some pictures of herself, but she was afraid people would think she was "stuck on herself"

Now that Lisa is in heaven (for those that don't know, Lisa was struck by a vehicle and died on September 20, 2000) I am going to fill this page with remembrances of her...

"If tears could build a stairway
And memories a lane
I'd walk right up to heaven
And bring you home again."

Dear Baby Sister

Dear Baby Sister, there are so many things I want you to know, that time didn’t permit me to say.
You were stolen from me too soon, too fast, oh how I miss you today!

Dear Baby Sister, I wish you could feel the way my heart’s tearing in two;
because if you could, there would be no question how much I truly love you!

Dear Baby Sister, I want so bad just to hold you close to me.
To tell you I need you, don’t want you to go, instead of setting you free!

Dear Baby Sister, I guess you were right, you knew it was more than a dream;
because now you and Eddie, instead of apart, are together on the same team.

Dear Baby Sister, I’ve no need to worry, I know you’ll keep me safe and sound.
I may have lost my Dear Baby Sister, but Heaven’s found the most ‘beautiful’ Angel around!!

In loving memory of my baby sister, Lisa Michelle Wade. You will always be a part of me: mind, heart, body and soul! I love you, and will miss you so much!

September 21, 2000

Well, it’s the day after, and what are we to think. We have lost one of the most spectacular people ever put on this earth, to a freak accident. Lisa Michelle Wade lost her life on the eve of Wednesday, September 20, 2000. Lisa was one of the most outgoing and exciting people I had ever had the pleasure of meeting. I’ve know her for a couple of years now, and we have become pretty good friends. Once I started dating her sister, Andrea, she started treating me like the brother she never had. I looked at her as if she was one of my very own sisters.

She would always wait on me after class, just so she could tell me who she had a crush on that week. I must say that she liked a lot of people, but she was kind of stuck on just one. She liked him so much, but she would never just let him know. So I tried to be a nice guy and tell him for her, but she refused to let me. When she found out that I had actually told him, she was quite upset with me, but we both ended up laughing about it.

I loved how she would trust me anything she had to say. I never expected her to be so open to me, because I was just her sister’s boyfriend, but I guess she thought of me as something more. It made me feel so good that she trusted me. By her doing this, it opened my eyes to see one the most amazing people ever. If I could change one thing about all of this it would be to tell her just how much it meant to know that she accepted me as one of the family.

Lisa shared a lot of things with me that I never expected to hear from her. I just wish that she would have had more time to experience new things and share them with me and all of the other people who loved her so dearly. There are so many people who are just absolutely crushed by the loss of the one of a kind young lady. I believe that everyone she talked to realized what a beautiful human being Lisa M. Wade really was.

I guess I have only one thing left to say, “Lisa we are going to miss you dearly. You have touched our lives in so many ways we couldn’t even begin to sit down and list them all. There is no way to describe the pain and heartache that comes after losing the most unique, spontaneous, and just all around wonderful person we have ever met. You will always be with us in our thoughts. We all love and miss you dearly, and I personally will never forget all the wonderful things that you shared with me over the past year. We love you!!!!”
